In a 2026 Google review, James painted both the inside and outside of a house and was neat and reasonable. Another 2026 review describes Jim's work on a bathroom that "looks beautiful," and says he "does a little bit of everything." A detailed 2025 review describes the interior of a new addition and about 75% of an old shingle exterior, with James doing 2 primer coats and 2 color coats on the new wallboard and plaster, plus 2 coats on all trim. In that 2025 review, the exterior prep included sanding, repairing and replacing some shingles, and when James wasn't completely satisfied with one side's repairs, he directed his crew to do the entire side a second time. The same 2025 review says they saved more than $4,000 by going with James instead of another painter. In a 2025 review, James Briggs and team sanded and painted an exterior side of a home that had not been done correctly numerous prior times, and painted and scraped the deck railings. A 2025 review says James did carpentry work to replace several rotten areas of siding, at a fair cost, and cleaned up after the work. Another 2025 review says James and crew restored and painted the interior of a living room, bath and kitchen. In a separate 2025 review, James dealt with cracks, leak marks and ancient walling in a small room. **Strengths:** - Interior and exterior painting — a 2026 review says James did both - Exterior prep — a 2025 review describes sanding and shingle repair - Redo for quality — a 2025 review says a whole side was redone - Rotten siding replacement — a 2025 review describes fair-cost carpentry ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2026 review says James painted both the inside and outside of a house and was neat and reasonable _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xGME9HbEJVRXhuVTI5cFRYVlVSbFJJUkU1Rk9VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x3538df0d2ca76e2d!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlF0OGlBUExnU29pTXVURlRIRE5FOUE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ James painted both the inside and outside of my house and did a great job.
