That customer says Marco and his team are punctual, communicate consistently and leave the work site cleaner than when they arrived. A recent Google customer lists interior painting, 2 full bathroom remodels including tile, installation of exterior doors and trim, and clapboard removal and installation among the projects Marco and his crew have done at their home, and says they clean up after themselves daily. A recent customer had their kitchen remodeled by 5 Stars and says it has become their favorite space in the house. A 2026 Thumbtack customer said their basement flooded after a burst pipe and the floors and drywall had to be replaced. That 2026 customer said Marco inspected the basement, laid out many options and priced the job fairly, and that the team was always on time and worked 9-10 hours each day. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said Marco and his crew installed lattice around a new deck, then wiped down the lattice, swept the patio and used leftover gravel to close the gap where the framing meets the patio. A 2024 customer said Marco and team came to help replace a bathroom vanity, a job that customer called no easy task. A 2023 customer said the team patched the holes left by a previous owner, painted the walls and trim, covered the floors and helped take down window treatments and put them back up at the end. On Thumbtack, 5 Stars holds 5.0 stars from 62 ratings and shows a Top Pro badge from 2023. **Strengths:** - Full bathroom remodels — a recent customer had 2 done, including tile - A clean work site — a recent customer says they leave it cleaner than they arrived - A basement flood rebuild — a 2026 customer said floors and drywall were replaced - Lattice finishing touches — a 2025 customer said they swept the patio afterward ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer described two complete bathroom demos and rebuilds, ceiling repairs, new lights and a full home paint job _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21waVpqZ3RPVTV6TkVSUVkxZDVabWw1ZDJoVWVIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x95f06a792150a155!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmpiZjgtOU5zNERQY1d5Zml5d2hUeHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I have had the pleasure of working with Marco Alexandre and 5 Stars Construction on several projects, including two complete bathroom dem…” - A recent customer says the team is punctual and leaves the work site cleaner than when they arrived _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21waVpqZ3RPVTV6TkVSUVkxZDVabWw1ZDJoVWVIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x95f06a792150a155!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmpiZjgtOU5zNERQY1d5Zml5d2hUeHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I have had the pleasure of working with Marco Alexandre and 5 Stars Construction on several projects, including two complete bathroom dem…” - A recent customer lists interior painting, 2 full bathroom remodels with tile, exterior doors and trim, and clapboard work _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tsS09FZHNTV1pmUkdoYVZWaE9PVXRsWW1VeE9IYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x95f06a792150a155!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOklKOEdsSWZfRGhaVVhOOUtlYmUxOHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Marco and his crew have done many projects at our home including interior painting, 2 full bathroom remodels including tile, installation…” - A recent customer had their kitchen remodeled by 5 Stars _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25wdFZsbFFTbXhuUjFGU1VsVjZRV1JyY0RSV00wRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x95f06a792150a155!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnptVllQSmxnR1FSUlV6QWRrcDRWM0E%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ We recently had our kitchen remodeled by 5 Stars, and the results are nothing short of exceptional.
