A&A Pest Control did: Kerry Lord drove an hour to the home and took care of a wasp nest hidden under the gutter, and the customer praised the price. A&A treats crawling insects, flying insects and rodents, according to its BBB profile, and it holds an A+ grade and accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. A recent customer said Matt came out the same day they called and got rid of yellowjackets that had built a nest inside the ceiling of an upstairs bedroom. On a home visit, a recent customer said Roland or Rowland showed up early and checked every corner of the home, inside and out. A 2025 customer on a monthly program said they had not seen a mouse since it began over a year earlier, with James as their technician. In a 2023 review, a condominium customer said technician Sammy treated the outside, where wasps got in through the bathroom exhaust fan cap, and removed a huge nest from the ceiling. A 2023 customer said the gentleman from A & A rebaited the traps and plugged some outside holes. A 2025 customer said A & A had been their pest control company for the past 30 years. A recent customer whose shop is serviced through the plaza management said a serious mouse problem had not been resolved after years of service, and they paid another pest control company to address it. A 2025 customer said a technician sprayed over a cat's food and other items in a unit that gets gel bait, and that no apology was offered. Connecticut lists its pesticide applicator licence, PMBR.00812, as active, held by A&A PEST CONTROL. **Strengths:** - Same-day wasp call — a recent customer said A&A came when over ten companies would not - Yellowjacket nest removal — Matt came out the day a recent customer called - Monthly mouse program — a 2025 customer saw no mice for over a year - BBB A+ grade — accredited with the Better Business Bureau **Concerns:** - Unresolved shop mice — a recent commercial customer hired another company after years - Spraying near pet food — a 2025 customer said a technician sprayed cat food ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/manchester/profile/pest-control/a-a-pest-control-0111-64001637) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Accredited with the Better Business Bureau _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/manchester/profile/pest-control/a-a-pest-control-0111-64001637) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - Rated 4.7 stars on Google from 88 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=A%20%26%20A%20Pest%20Control&query_place_id=ChIJG06xnQ9Y5okRvrliKpoob2E) — “Google: 4.7★ from 88 ratings” - Came out on a Saturday for a wasp emergency after over ten other companies would not, per a recent customer _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xKV1oxOW1UM1ZJTTFkSFgyaFJjVEJhU21jMU0yYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x616f289a2a62b9be!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlJWZ19mT3VIM1dHX2hRcTBaSmc1M2c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ These folks are the best!
