Robinson switched their house from oil to propane heat, thinking through the best way to change out the furnaces and blend the old and new piping. A 2026 customer praised the workers, from delivering their oil to a tune up on an ancient furnace. The company says it has been in business 76 years, and its website lists Dover-Foxcroft and Greenville as its service area. A 2024 customer thanked A. E. Robinson Co. in Greenville and said technician Mike arrived on time, diagnosed the problem with their camp heater, ordered parts and did the repair within a week. A 2024 reviewer said it took about 4 months to get a camp's oil system installed, after which it worked fine, and that each tech and employee treated them fairly. A 2022 customer said that when they ran out, the company delivered very quickly, and that the staff showed them how to do easy stuff. A 2025 customer said customer service put a delivery in for the wrong date, leaving them out of oil at -6°, and that the make-up delivery went to the wrong place. A 2023 customer said 150 gallons of heating oil ordered for the 26th still had not arrived on December 31st, after the payment was debited. A 2026 customer said the website listed emergency plumbing service, but the on-call plumber told them the company does not offer it. A 2025 customer wrote that a paid ton of pellets would not be delivered until the next Thursday, and that they were not allowed to take bags home by car. A 2025 motorist said one of the company's service vans smashed their mirror and left them in a ditch, and that they had filed with the courts. **Strengths:** - Propane conversion — a 2026 customer praised how old and new piping were blended - Camp heater repair — a 2024 customer said Mike fixed it within a week **Concerns:** - A wrong delivery date — a 2025 customer ran out of oil at -6° - An unfilled oil order — a 2023 customer still waited after paying - Emergency plumbing — a 2026 customer was told it is not offered ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2026 customer said the company converted their house from oil to propane heat, blending old and new piping _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21sZlZsaDFaRzFwTm5WYVVsUnZhMkl0TFZWbmVIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xa05dfa4ba3a1b13b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmlfVlh1ZG1pNnVaUlRva2ItLVVneHc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We switched our house from oil to propane heat.
