Malin & Co. for, and it carries a 5-star Google rating from 37 ratings. The company describes itself on its website as a general contractor with 24 years of industry experience, 10 of them as an independent company. One recent job was a full remodel of a household's only bathroom; that customer picked the tile, cabinetry and fixtures and said Aaron gave suggestions without pushing his ideas. A recent customer with a 70-year-old house listed a kitchen remodel, an opened-up wall, two redone bathrooms, a new deck and a floor refinish, and said Aaron talked them out of a couple of things that would have been too expensive. A recent window job replaced 48 windows and added 2 new ones, and that customer said everything was left clean and the pricing was good. A 2024 customer described a kitchen, two baths, paint work and repairs on a 150-year-old Redding home, and said the job was completed on time and as budgeted despite projects added along the way. A 2024 reviewer who works as a painting contractor praised Aaron's management of subcontractors. A 2022 customer said the team finished their basement a week ahead of schedule, with an exercise space, wet bar, bathroom and office. A 2022 customer said Aaron came out on a Saturday morning to install a faucet so they could get water back in the kitchen. A 2022 customer said issues with cabinet orders delayed their kitchen and hardwood flooring job, and that Aaron worked around them and kept the project moving. **Strengths:** - A recent bathroom remodel — customer chose the tile, cabinetry and fixtures - Window replacement — a recent customer had 48 windows replaced - Ahead of schedule — a 2022 customer's basement finished a week early - A Saturday faucet install — a 2022 customer got kitchen water back **Concerns:** - Cabinet order delays — a 2022 customer said they delayed the job ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5-star Google rating from 37 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=A.%20P.%20Malin%20%26%20Co.%20Remodeling&query_place_id=ChIJH-dQLNbk54kR0Q2ZRn1GRfY) — “Google: 5★ from 37 ratings” - Describes itself as a general contractor with 24 years of industry experience, 10 as an independent company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.apmalinco.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): A.
