## The honest read

A recent customer said Silverio replaced a 328 foot driveway, and that its quote was the best one they got. A Silverio Asphalt Paving says it has been in business 46 years. A recent customer said a small hole in the driveway was repaired in just a few minutes after Bernie sent a crew over.

A recent customer who gave three stars said the final product turned out great and one of the owners was on site actively doing the work, but the estimate was roughly 16% higher than the next highest bid. That customer said the job was booked to begin in late May or early June but did not start until early July, and the company added a 1.3% fuel surcharge it refused to waive.

A 2025 customer said the team removed the old asphalt from a 29-year-old driveway, re-packed the base, and returned to address imperfections before the final paving. A 2023 customer said Silverio gave an honest opinion to wait until spring rather than pave in cold weather, then established a new base, waited 3-4 weeks and paved. A 2023 customer said that when their prep work got washed away in a storm, Silverio came back and redid the entire prep work. A 2023 customer in Redding, CT described a new driveway with 3 drains added that handled 3 inches of rain.

A 2024 customer said they asked for an 18ft x 20ft basketball area to be level, it was paved with a steep slope, and the company would not fix it. A 2024 customer said calls went unreturned after signing a contract to pave a driveway, and they cancelled the contract. A 2018 HomeAdvisor reviewer said some of the asphalt was peeling two years after the paving was done.
