Abatement Pro and Demo is a Lawrence outfit built for the job that stops a renovation cold: vermiculite in the attic. A 2019 Google reviewer had wanted to re-insulate an old attic and found nobody would go up there until the vermiculite came out — Eurinson and his team cleared it. BBB records the business as incorporated in January 2018, with five employees and Eurinson Feliz as its owner.

The work homeowners describe is almost all asbestos and vermiculite removal, with demolition alongside it. BuildZoom, Procore and HomeAdvisor each list demolition among its trades, and an April 2021 customer tearing down an old farmhouse that contained asbestos had the company strip out the sheetrock and windows first.

Two names recur in the reviews: Miguel, who quotes and schedules, and Felix, who leads the crew. A June 2021 customer said Miguel made the quote and the booking easy, and Felix's crew was willing to tarp the walls because rain was forecast; another that April said the crew arrived right on schedule and finished with a complete cleanup. In a September 2021 account, an attic was cleared and the inspection passed in two days, with a portable entry booth keeping particulates inside the containment tunnel.

Twice the job turned out bigger than anyone expected. A June 2023 customer found almost twice the square footage of vermiculite they had counted on and said the crew stayed late to keep the cost down; a July 2023 customer wrote that the company worked with them to reduce the unanticipated cost, the crew again staying late to manage it. Speed comes up too — a May 2023 homeowner had a quote almost instantly and, by the end of that night, a date as early as the state's asbestos paperwork allowed.

Its HomeAdvisor page carries a 5.0 across 44 ratings and 210 project photos sorted into exterior and interior abatement, floor demolition, pipe insulation removal and vermiculite remediation galleries. Its BBB page is an A+. The written accounts run from 2019 to 2023.

Two things to sort out on the call. Three addresses appear across its listings — North Canal Street and Perry Avenue in Lawrence, and a North Andover street on its HomeAdvisor contact page — and the same HomeAdvisor page claims 8 years of experience in one spot and over 15 in another. It describes itself there as a licensed Massachusetts asbestos contractor; the state licenses that work through the Department of Labor Standards, so ask for the number and check it there. Spanish is spoken.

For a homeowner facing vermiculite, pipe insulation or a teardown that contains asbestos, this is a specialist crew, and residential jobs of exactly that kind are what its customers describe. Confirm the licence number, the containment plan and who will be on site.
