## The honest read

Abbott Fence LLC describes itself as a Central Maine fencing company that installs, repairs and maintains fences for residential and commercial properties, and it says it has been in business 14 years.

A recent Google customer says they love their fence: a two-day job that included removing the old one.

A 2024 customer said Abbott Fence placed fencing around the play yard of their new business, a school, in a job that included a meeting with Gardiner Code Enforcement and the Gardiner Water District Superintendent. That 2024 customer said the owner, David, was upfront about installation possibilities and gave reliable timelines and estimates.

A 2024 reviewer wrote that Dave Abbot and his kids did the job on a run area for their pup. In a 2023 review, a customer said Dave and his crew got to the project fast.

A 2020 customer said Abbott Fence went out of its way on a weekend in a snow storm to give an estimate, then moved the install date up because they were ahead of schedule.

**Strengths:**
- A two-day replacement — a recent customer's job included removing the old fence
- A code enforcement meeting — part of a 2024 customer's play-yard fencing job
- An earlier install date — a 2020 customer said it was moved up
- A snowstorm estimate — a 2020 customer said they came on a weekend
