## The honest read

Above Grade Home Inspections holds 5 stars across 55 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau. Its website lists new construction, pre-marketing, final walk-through and wood-destroying-insect inspections alongside environmental and water testing.

A 2026 customer said Jeremy pointed out important issues without being alarmist and helped that buyer understand what was truly urgent versus what was typical for the age of the home. That 2026 customer also said they were able to fit the inspection in very quickly during a time-sensitive home purchase.

In a 2024 review, a customer said the inspector was up front about the issues found, what needed to be addressed before the final sale and what could wait until after owning the home. A 2024 reviewer who used Above Grade for a home inspection in Newtown said Connie helped facilitate the process and Jeremy took the time to explain things in great detail.

A 2023 customer said Jeremy and Michael explained all their findings and offered potential solutions to existing problems where appropriate, and that Connie was informative about the water testing. In a 2022 review, a customer said the detailed report arrived less than 24 hours after the inspection. A 2022 customer said Jeremy and Connie were accommodating when that customer had to reschedule several times.

**Strengths:**
- Urgent versus typical — a 2026 customer said Jeremy explained what mattered most
- Pre-sale priorities — a 2024 customer said the inspector was up front about issues
- Quick report — a 2022 customer said it arrived within 24 hours
