## The honest read

A customer wrote in September 2025 that Acme Abatement pulled the asbestos out of a cottage before it came down — on time, clean, and very reasonably priced. That is the company's lane: asbestos removal and interior demolition, run out of Seekonk.

Its BBB profile puts 15 employees behind the work and names Seng An Meas as president and Veasna Neth as operations manager, with the corporation incorporated in 2005. Massachusetts' Supplier Diversity Office certifies it as a Minority Business Enterprise, and the registry shows that certification active. Three Google ratings average five stars.

Two things belong on the table before you call. Violation Tracker records a $14,197 Massachusetts Attorney General penalty against the company on November 9, 2018, for a wage-and-hour violation. And the company's own lawsuit against general contractor S&R Corporation failed: the Massachusetts Appeals Court affirmed summary judgment for the contractor, and a 2016 legal write-up of that 2015 ruling describes a subcontractor who refused to perform disputed work and walked off the job.

On the residential side, the two customers who wrote about the work describe careful, tidy crews — in an October 2024 review a homeowner said there were no footprints or dirt left behind, and both mention reasonable prices. For asbestos coming out ahead of a demolition or a renovation, that is the job they are set up for.
