## The honest read

An April 2026 Google reviewer described two substantial projects with Adam: chimney repair and a wood stove installation. They said both were reasonably priced, praised clean and efficient work, and valued the open communication about project status. The same reviewer described Mike as polite and cordial. ACO Masonry & Heating & AC is based in Southwick, Massachusetts.

Brickwork features in a July 2026 account, too. That customer said Adam and Anthony repaired two brick flower containers and remained professional and courteous while working outdoors in the heat. In an October 2025 Google review, another customer praised a reasonable quote without upselling and timely chimney work. An August 2025 reviewer was pleased with their chimney and said they planned to use the team to redo a cellar door.

Air-conditioning customers describe specific repairs. A July 2023 Google reviewer said Adam pinpointed the problem, had the needed part in his truck and got the AC running again, then explained the issue and offered preventive-maintenance advice. A June 2015 HomeAdvisor reviewer described AC cleaning, a refrigerant top-off and sealant added for a possible small leak, saying the house was cool again.

Other older accounts describe masonry and foundation work. A January 2020 HomeAdvisor reviewer said Adam and his crew installed an entire wall of stone veneer within three days. In May 2015, a homeowner described an old concrete foundation repair, basement-window sealing and exterior digging to seal cracks. A March 2016 reviewer said Adam and his helper returned to fix a drainage problem without trouble and cleaned up well.

There are also dated complaints to weigh. A November 2015 HomeAdvisor reviewer reported grout left on cabinets, in the kitchen sink and across floors after a tiling job, with bare flooring under the vanity. They said their husband would finish the job and did not want the contractor back. Another May 2015 customer said a difficult job ultimately looked nice but described a period of less-than-professional behavior. A May 2023 reviewer praised the crew’s effort and project ideas while advising that the work be watched as it was done.

Google reports 5 stars from eight ratings; HomeAdvisor and Angi each report 4.5 stars from 36 ratings. Better Business Bureau gives the business an A+ grade.
