## The honest read

A new Trane AC installation "went quickly and efficiently," a recent Google customer wrote of ADJ of Stamford Inc, an HVAC company that says it has 40 years in business. Its website lists free estimates and 24/7 emergency service among its offers.

A recent customer whose air conditioning unit had been there since 2003 said it had to be replaced and called the installation timely. Joe and his crew were neat, clean and efficient, a recent customer wrote.

A 2024 customer said that after a semiannual service, their 11-year-old gas-fired furnace did not fire up; after multiple visits and a part replacement, it was determined a new furnace was needed, and three days later ADJ removed the old one and installed a new one. A 2024 customer said that when their parents' air conditioner went out during a major heat wave, ADJ assured them it would get there within two hours and did, and Mike fixed everything quickly. A 2023 customer who met four HVAC companies and got quotes from all said ADJ's crew installed two central heating and AC units at their house. A 2025 customer said ADJ installed their HVAC system 15 years earlier and had serviced it annually since.

A 2025 customer gave one star, quoting "We are not taking any new customers". A 2025 one-star review on Google read "Not seeking new customers."

Connecticut lists its S1 heating and cooling contractor licence, HTG.0391238-S1, as active, held by ADJ of Stamford Inc.
