--- title: "Advance Fencing" description: "Frank of Advance Fencing quoted one couple in September and, when they finally signed the following July, honored the same price — that August 2026 Google " doc_version: "2026-10-19" last_updated: "2026-10-19" --- # Advance Fencing **Trade:** Fencing · **Phone:** (203) 290-8982 · **Website:** http://www.advancefencingct.com/ · **Languages:** English, Spanish **Rating: 4.4/5** (high confidence) — from 87 reviews across 10 sources. 96% of sentiment-scored reviews read net-positive. Last 6 months: 14 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Frank of Advance Fencing quoted one couple in September and, when they finally signed the following July, honored the same price — that August 2026 Google reviewer chose the company after seeing the fence it had built next door. Holding a quote comes up again: in a 2025 review, a customer said Frank kept his original price even after a panel replacement needed unexpected extra work. The fence company holds 4.8 stars across 148 Google ratings and 5.0 on HomeAdvisor and Angi, and says it has 10 years in business. Frank, whom one reviewer calls the owner, handles quotes and follow-through himself. A May 2026 customer said he settled a property-line question with a neighbor from the official blueprint, then hired the company a second time; that review names installers Georgito and William. Another May 2026 reviewer had an aluminum pool fence put in at a quote well under other companies', and a daycare described fencing that added security for its children. A March 2026 customer whose fence was damaged by winter wind said the crew came the day after Frank's inspection. In a 2023 review, a homeowner said Frank was the only contractor to warn about town zoning rules, which saved them a fine. An October 2026 reviewer from a development firm said the company has handled everything from small repairs to complete subdivisions for them. Two reviews are negative. In July 2025, a customer wrote that a fence installed the previous October started falling apart months later, that communication about crew arrival was poor, that Frank was argumentative, and that they hired another company to fix it. A 2022 reviewer complained that Frank did not answer calls. Its Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0654291, is active, held by Advance Fencing LLC. Its BBB grade is A+, and it offers free estimates. **Strengths:** - Price held — 2025 and 2026 reviewers say Frank kept his quotes - Property lines — a 2026 dispute settled from the blueprint - Fast repairs — a March 2026 crew came the day after inspection - Zoning advice — a 2023 reviewer avoided a fine on his guidance **Concerns:** - Fence durability — a July 2025 review says the fence fell apart - Communication — 2022 and 2025 reviewers cite poor contact ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an active Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0654291, under Advance Fencing LLC _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0654291 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: ADVANCE FENCING LLC” - BBB grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/stratford/profile/fence-contractors/advance-fencing-llc-0111-110098414) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - 4.8 stars on Google from 148 ratings and 5.0 on HomeAdvisor and Angi from 6 each _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Advance%20Fencing&query_place_id=ChIJdxadls8N6IkRCJBQXtw9cBc) — “Google: 4.8★ from 148 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/stratford/advance-fencing-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 5.0★ from 6 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.AdvanceFencingLLC.113450985.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 5.0★ from 6 ratings” - Reviews from 2025 and 2026 say Frank honored original quotes, once ten months later and once despite extra work _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2psNVdscHVWa3hQYm10MmVWTm5XR3BJYTBoWlUxRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x17703ddc5e509008!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjl5WlpuVkxPbmt2eVNnWGpIa0hZU1E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Such a fabulous company!
