## The honest read

Advance HVAC is a heating and cooling company whose website lists a service area of twelve towns, among them Milford, New Haven, Branford, Guilford, Madison and Old Saybrook. The company says it offers 24/7 emergency service, and its site posts short troubleshooting videos and a checklist so callers can rule out a dirty filter, a dead thermostat battery or a tripped switch before calling.

A 2023 customer said they came by twice at short notice when everyone else wouldn't fit them in for days, and thanked Matt. Another job from that year was commercial: a 2023 customer said they fixed the cooler in a gas station. A 2023 reviewer recommended Matt for "all my hvac needs of both my resturant and my house" and called the service good value.

A 2023 customer wrote of a new water boiler installed, with no more waiting for water to warm up, and thanked them for the maintenance advice. A 2023 customer said the worker made sure he left the scene spotless. A 2023 customer said they showed up on time and fixed the problem right away.

**Strengths:**
- Short-notice service — a 2023 customer said they came by twice at short notice
- A new boiler — a 2023 customer wrote of a new water boiler installed
- On-time arrival — a 2023 customer said they showed up on time
- A spotless site — a 2023 customer said the worker left it spotless
