Louis agreed to inspect it the day after they called, and that customer said he is an engineer who was able to give guidance on structural matters. A recent customer said Louis used drone cameras, thermal imaging cameras and mold and radon testing equipment, and provided a 150+ page report with pictures inside of 3 days. On Google, Advant holds 4.8 stars from 18 ratings. A 2026 customer said a prior inspection by another company had missed details, and that Lou walked them through the condition of the home and its stone foundation. A 2025 customer said Louis inspected an 11K sq ft home built in 1988 that had a water event in the basement, and turned the 600 page report around in 24 hours at the customer's request. In a 2022 review, a customer said Louis looked at the retaining wall and basement foundation of an 1881 house and told them how to maintain the foundation. The help did not always end at the inspection. A 2025 customer said Mr Csak took time out of his weekend to review a dispute the customer had with a contractor and prepared a quick report for it. A 2024 customer named the owner as Louis and said he would not accept payment unless he was confident he could add value. A 2025 customer said Louis took a job without proper experience, wasted two months of their time and failed to deliver adequate documents. That customer warned about contract wording that he "gives no guarantee" to complete the job. **Strengths:** - Detailed written reports — 150-plus and 168-page reports with pictures, per recent customers - Structural guidance — a recent customer said he advised on structural matters - A fast report — a 2025 customer got a 600 page report in 24 hours **Concerns:** - Contract guarantee wording — a 2025 customer warned he "gives no guarantee" to finish ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer received a 168-page report with pictures the day after the walk-through of an 1860s house _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21Odk1tOTBUV1pxZFU1NGNWRldTVXh1TURCU1gwRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7e54a9960d6dc095!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmNvMm90TWZqdU54cVFWSUxuMDBSX0E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had reached out to Louis with respect to several homes, which were over 100 years old, with various issues that we had bid on (and los…” - A recent customer said Louis used drone and thermal imaging cameras and delivered a 150+ page report inside of 3 days _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT21WWlFWQjZhbVJGV0UxcWJUUmFVR3MzZEU5WFlsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7e54a9960d6dc095!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmVZQVB6amRFWE1qbTRaUGs3dE9XYlE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I HIGHLY recommend Advant Engineering and Louis for your home inspection needs.
