A recent Google customer had floors over 30 years old that had never been refinished and thought they could not be fixed; Richard refinished them, explained everything and answered all of that customer's questions. A 2026 customer said Rich brought 33-year-old red oak floors that were very worn back to look good as new. A 2025 customer described hardwood floors that were black in places, with water damage from plants; after a few days with Rich, that customer said, visitors asked if the floors were new. That 2025 customer also had Rich sand and refinish their dark hardwoods so all the floors match. A 2025 customer said Rich restored multiple rooms of wide pine floors with cut nails and installed new matching floors in two rooms that had been carpeted. A 2025 customer said Richard and his son refinished their pine floors, and Richard recommended keeping them natural with no stain. A 2024 customer said Richard and his son refinished 30-year-old pine floors that needed extra work to glue some cracks, and that the price was a little more than other quotes that customer got. A 2024 customer who was new to the area said Rich explained his process and options over the phone and at the site visit, and that the job started and finished on schedule. A 2023 customer said they received progress pictures and regular updates. **Strengths:** - Old floor refinishing — a recent customer had 30-year-old floors refinished - Wide pine restoration — a 2025 customer said Rich restored wide pine floors - On-schedule work — a 2024 customer said the job started and finished on schedule **Concerns:** - A higher price — a 2024 customer said it was a little more than other quotes ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it was established in 2003 as an owner-operated business serving the Lakes Region and White Mountains of New Hampshire _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.advantagehardwoodflooring.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Advantage Hardwood Flooring was established on May 2, 2003, as an owner-operated business.
