## The honest read

AGF Surfaces is a Worcester stone fabricator whose reviews keep returning to the same thing: speed. Countertop jobs — kitchens, bathrooms, fireplace surrounds, wet bars — routinely go from a first phone call to a finished install in one to two weeks, cutting granite, quartz and marble for homeowners and at least one general contractor who says he's used them on more than 60 jobs since 2006.

Across 51 reviews from 2021 to mid-2026, the same staff names come up again and again — Lorrayne, Tammy, Camilla, Nicole — for walking customers through slab selection and keeping installs on schedule. In a 2022 review, one customer said AGF beat nine competing countertop quotes by far on price. Recent 2026 reviews describe the same pattern: one customer had a stainless sink re-set into a granite countertop after six months of other plumbers and countertop shops turning the job down, and another described working with the same sales rep across repeat projects over several years. In a 2024 review, a customer described installers noticing an out-of-level wall behind a granite fireplace mantel and grinding and polishing the piece on site until it fit properly.

The one real complaint on file, from 2022, describes a sink that separated from its quartz countertop about a year and a half after a 2020 installation, and being quoted a repair fee to fix it — worth asking about their policy on issues that surface after installation.

For a kitchen, bath or fireplace stone project, AGF's record is unusually deep and consistent — get a clear answer on what's covered if a problem shows up down the road.

**Strengths:**
- Fast turnarounds — countertop jobs often finished within one to two weeks
- Repeat business — one contractor reports 60+ jobs over two decades
- 2024 custom fit — installers ground and polished a mantel to fit properly

**Concerns:**
- 2022 sink complaint — customer charged a fee to fix a years-later leak
