The technician, Taylor, found the replacement part had to come from the company's warehouse about 60 miles away, and another Aiello employee drove it over while Taylor kept working; he pressure-tested the system with nitrogen before evacuating and recharging it. On its BBB profile, Aiello Home Services describes itself as offering plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical and drain/sewer service along with home heating oil deliveries. Its website claims 95 years in business and lists a service area of Hartford, Middlesex, Tolland, New Haven, Windham, New London and Litchfield. The BBB shows an A+ grade and accreditation. A customer who needed an emergency outdoor sewer repair in winter ice rain said Angelo and Frank got the permits and dug a 25 foot deep trench to replace the lines, then came back in the spring, when Frank spent a day grading and re-seeding the yard. A customer said Bob Nadile and his son came the next morning for an estimate, then replaced a kitchen faucet and a leaky valve and installed a utility sink in a laundry room. A 2026 customer said that after their heat stopped, Aiello took out the old boiler parts and wheeled a new boiler in through the basement door. A customer who booked a same-day oil burner cleaning for a burner emitting black smoke said the technician did a thorough job, but the final cost far exceeded the quoted price, and they would not recommend the company. On r/Connecticut, a 2025 commenter said Aiello wouldn't make an emergency call and told them to call someone else. A 2024 r/homeowners post said plumbing work by Aiello led to water damage. A courant.com headline reads "Department of Consumer Protection Settles With Aiello Home Services’ Owner," and an nhregister.com headline reads "CT WATCHDOG: Plumbing company Aiello Home Services draws complaints." Connecticut lists its P1 plumbing contractor licence, PLM.0277688-P1, and its S1 heating and cooling contractor licence, HTG.0413487-S1, as active, both held by Aiello Home Services. **Strengths:** - Quick AC scheduling — a Saturday failure was fit in Monday at 7:30 AM - Sewer line replacement — a 25 foot trench dug in winter ice rain - Spring yard repair — Frank returned to grade and re-seed the yard **Concerns:** - Oil burner bill — a customer said the final cost far exceeded the quote - State settlement headline — courant.com reports a consumer protection settlement with its owner - Emergency call refused — a 2025 Reddit commenter said Aiello would not come ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A customer said a Saturday central-air failure was fit in first thing Monday, with a part driven from the company's warehouse so the repair could continue _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25kdk4yaFVVa2xZU1Y5MUxXRkJYMU5TUm1abk9XYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7fe227038bfb5b0!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOndvN2hUUklYSV91LWFBX1NSRmZnOWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Our central air conditioning failed on a Saturday during one of the hottest and most humid stretches of the summer.
