It carries an A+ grade on the BBB. A recent customer said the company replaced an old air conditioning unit and worked directly with their home warranty company to get the replacement approved. A recent customer said the company stood behind an earlier AC installation when the AC did not work; within a week of the diagnostic visit the whole thing was fixed, which involved substantial inside piping work, and they were never charged for it. A 2026 customer managing the project from Florida said Jim, the owner, restarted an old boiler, then the company installed a Utica boiler, pulled the permit and made sure the inspection was completed. A 2026 customer said they replaced about 15 burst pipes. A 2025 customer said a boiler replacement turned up dangerous electrical from the previous owner, and the company had an electrician there the same day and restored heat and hot water before leaving. A 2022 customer said a valve leak continued after each visit, and that once they did not show and twice showed up late. A 2022 customer said the company was assigned through American Home Shield and cancelled after it was due to arrive. A 2023 customer said $1550 was taken and a year later no work was done. **Strengths:** - Warranty claim handling — a recent customer said they got an AC replacement approved - A no-charge repair — a recent customer said piping work was never billed - A permitted boiler install — a 2026 customer said they pulled the permit **Concerns:** - A missed visit — a 2022 customer said they once did not show - An unfinished job — a 2023 customer said $1550 was paid, no work done ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Its website says it has served homes in Fairfield County for almost 2 decades _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://airandwatersolutions.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): When it comes to serious plumbing, heating and cooling issues, it is important to get professional help.
