On the Better Business Bureau, the business describes itself under the name Quality Energies as providing fuel delivery and home comfort services, including oil and propane delivery, heating system installations, and air conditioning installation and service. It holds an A+ Better Business Bureau grade and a 4.3-star Google rating from 30 ratings. In a 2025 review, the writer says they have been a customer for 20 years and praised ordering oil over the phone and the deliveries in January and February, when everybody needs oil at the same time. A recent Google review says that after Al's serviced the writer's burner the year before, it shook the house when the heat turned on. Al's came back a couple of times to try to fix it without charging, and when Al's wanted to charge, the writer found a new company, which discovered that Al's had put the wrong nozzle size on the burner. In a 2025 review, the writer says that a year after Al's serviced the furnace, it started blowing soot all over the basement, and the writer found the air intake completely closed. In that 2025 review, Al's first said a manager would reach out, which the writer says never happened, and when the writer called back two weeks later, Al's said there was nothing they could do. A 2022 review, which calls the company Quality Energies, says it seemed to be filling the writer's tank whenever oil prices had peaked, at $5.29 a gallon for 90 gallons, with the price a lot lower a few days later. **Strengths:** - Winter oil deliveries — a 2025 review praised January and February deliveries **Concerns:** - Wrong nozzle size — a recent review says another company found it on the burner - Closed air intake — a 2025 review found it shut a year after service - Manager follow-up — a 2025 review says the manager never reached out - Oil pricing — a 2022 review says fills came when prices had peaked ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself on the Better Business Bureau, as Quality Energies, as providing oil and propane delivery, heating system installations and air conditioning installation and service _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/rehoboth/profile/fuel-oil/quality-energies-0021-76386) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Quality Energies provides fuel delivery and home comfort services, including oil delivery, p…” - A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/rehoboth/profile/fuel-oil/quality-energies-0021-76386) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - 4.3 stars on Google from 30 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Al's%20Quality%20Oil%20Co.%2C%20Inc.&query_place_id=ChIJT2LVN09e5IkRC5at5l04_p8) — “Google: 4.3★ from 30 ratings” - In a 2025 review, a 20-year customer praised ordering oil over the phone and the deliveries in January and February _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnTURBOTQ3cm1RRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x9ffe385de6ad960b!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgMDA947rmQE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I've been a customer of Al's Quality Service for 20 years.
