The company's website says it has served Connecticut homeowners for 30 years. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 68 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau grade is A+. A recent Google customer wrote that Albana did their roof and replaced a leaking skylight. That customer said the whole roof job was completed in one day, with tarps and netting running from the roof to the lawn to catch debris, and described the business as family run, headed by brothers Al and Sonny. A customer who had just bought a first house said the job covered a new roof, vinyl siding, PVC and Azak trim, and gutters, and that the company kept to the original look of the house. A customer who first hired Albana to replace a roof said they called the company again when it was time for new siding. A 2025 customer said Albana replaced their roof through a homeowners insurance claim and did the whole roof in one day. A 2021 customer said Sonny worked with their insurance company on a storm-damage claim and got coverage for replacing the skylights too. That 2021 customer also said zinc strips they asked for, which the claim did not include, were installed at no extra charge. A 2022 customer said Albana showed photos and video from the roof to explain why water was getting into their family room, under a roof another company had recently installed, and that Sonny and his team resolved the problem. A 2023 customer said the new roof was installed in 7 hours from start to finish. A 2023 customer said one small imperfection in the install was fixed within hours of letting them know. A 2022 customer said the roof Albana replaced was leaking worse in the same place five months later, and that the company blamed the wall of the house and tried to charge for a temporary repair. In 2016, an Angi customer said that after a visit to nail down a couple of shingles and secure a ridge vent, he quoted $9000 for a new roof and promised a written estimate and contract, and that was the last they heard from him. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0628893, as active, held by Albana Roofing LLC. **Strengths:** - One-day roof job — a recent customer said the whole roof was done in one day - Roof and siding refit — a recent customer described new roof, siding, trim and gutters - Insurance claim help — a 2021 customer said Sonny got skylights covered - Leak diagnosis — a 2022 customer said they showed photos and video from the roof **Concerns:** - A repeat leak — a 2022 customer said the new roof leaked five months later - A missing estimate — a 2016 customer said no written estimate followed ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Based in Prospect, according to a Reddit commenter _(confidence: medium)_ - [reddit.com](https://www.reddit.com/r/Connecticut/comments/1tb2f0l/what_is_the_price_of_a_roof_replacement_in_ct/oleq00n/) — “r/Connecticut — Albana roofing out of Prospect just did my house and did an excellent job, all in one day.” - The company says it has served Connecticut homeowners for 30 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](http://www.albanaroofing.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Albana Roofing is the #1 Connecticut Roofing Company.
