## The honest read

All Comfort Heating & Cooling describes itself on its website as locally owned and operated, offering heating and cooling services in Charlestown, Rhode Island, as well as Westerly, South Kingstown and nearby areas.

A 2026 customer, referred after what they called dealing with "a cowboy" and a $15k loss, said Jimmy and his team cleaned up the mess, installed a new mini split system, and later installed another mini split for an addition. A 2025 customer said James and his crew installed 2 mini splits, with the job done in just over a day. A 2024 customer said Jimmy came out himself for the assessment, walked through options on placement and equipment, discouraged buying more than was needed, and the install was finished in half a day.

A 2025 customer said that when the a/c broke down on a humid weekend in August, James answered a Saturday morning call, arrived at noon as promised, diagnosed the problem within minutes and repaired it. A 2024 customer said Jimmy flushed and cleaned 3 mini splits top to bottom without letting water or dirt escape, then came back to encase wiring leading to the outside unit. A 2024 customer said Jimmy gave clear up-front pricing estimates and helped maximize incentives and rebates through the state and utility providers. A 2025 customer said Jimmy saved them thousands and described him starting with the small diagnostic things before suggesting a whole new air conditioning system.

A recent customer called the crew clean and knowledgeable.

**Strengths:**
- Mini split installs — a 2025 customer said two went in just over a day
- Weekend a/c repair — a 2025 customer said James arrived at noon as promised
- Right-sized equipment — a 2024 customer said Jimmy discouraged buying more than needed
