Its website says it aims to protect homes and businesses with roofing, gutter and siding solutions, and it reports 20 years in business. Its home improvement contractor licence is active on the state registry. In a 2026 Google review, a homeowner says Luis and his crew had "my whole roof stripped and shingles in one day" and left the yard immaculate; that reviewer had 10 estimates done and says Luis was the only one who even got on the roof to look. Another 2026 Google review says All Star kept the customer updated throughout the whole process of a new roof. In a 2025 Google review, a homeowner with a leak says Louis and his team replaced their roof on the Cape on short notice, moving them to the top of the list with more rainy weather coming up. A 2025 Google review says Luis took pictures of progress and ice shielding. Per a 2025 Thumbtack review, Louis provided a roof replacement for a tool shed, replacing the plywood, fascia and shingle. A 2025 Thumbtack review says they came over the next day to evaluate leaking gutters and repaired them early the next week. A 2026 Thumbtack review says they came right away and shoveled the customer's entire driveway. A 2026 Google review from a customer who hired them to replace a roof and siding called the roof wonderful but raised problems with the window and siding work: several windows were left on the ground for weeks, a first-floor window was left unsecured for a weekend, caulk was not used on gaps between windows and frames, and nails were not picked up as promised. That customer says they were told "We don't do inside" when asking about interior trim. The same 2026 review says Luis came within a week to add missing glue when water poured through the end of a gutter. **Strengths:** - One-day roof job — roof stripped and shingles in one day, per a 2026 review - Short-notice reroof — leaking Cape roof replaced, per a 2025 review - Progress photos — Luis photographed ice shielding, per a 2025 review **Concerns:** - Siding and windows — a 2026 review cites uncaulked gaps, nails not picked up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - MA home improvement contractor licence 201673 is active on the state registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 201673 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: All-Star home Improvement Inc” - Reports 20 years in business on its website _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://all-starhomeimprovement.com) — “Self-reported 20 years in business” - Roof stripped and shingled in one day by Luis and his crew, per a 2026 Google review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2s0Mk1YRXpTekZpYVY5VU5HUnFkVlEwVGkweGJsRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb57279569ae23c1f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk42MXEzSzFiaV9UNGRqdVQ0Ti0xblE%7C%7C?hl=en-GB) — “5★ I can't say enough about Luis and his crew they had my whole roof stripped and shingles in one day amazing and left my yard im…” - Replaced a leaking roof on the Cape on short notice, per a 2025 Google review _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnTUNJOUp6SGJ3EAE!2m1!1s0x0:0xb57279569ae23c1f!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgMCI9JzHbw%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Louis and his team did a great job on short notice replacing my roof on the Cape.
