## The honest read

Almeida's Cleaning is a family-owned cleaning company in Milford, Massachusetts, run by Emmanuelle Almeida as president and Vinny Almeida as vice president, offering recurring house cleaning plus deep, move-in/move-out, post-construction, laundry and office cleaning across the MetroWest. The company holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau and says it partners with the non-profit Cleaning for a Reason to provide free cleaning for clients with cancer.

The written record is large and current: 187 reviews since 2015 across Google and Angi, with 11 in the last six months and none of those negative. Customers most often praise deep cleans that reach places they had not thought of. In a January 2026 Google review, a homeowner described a seven-hour deep clean that got under rugs and dusted every item; a December 2025 reviewer said a condo left uninhabitable by a renovation was sparkling within two hours; a May 2026 reviewer arranged a deep clean before a parent's joint-replacement surgery and came home to a spotless house. Recurring clients speak the same way: a February 2026 family has used the crew every two weeks for four years, a November 2025 client of two years notes the team uses environmentally friendly products on request, and several people say Emmanuelle is easy to reach and quick to schedule. Commercial work draws praise too, including a July 2026 after-hours store deep clean and a 2023 office-and-warehouse job.

The complaints are few but specific and worth asking about. A February 2025 two-star reviewer who had used the service for three years said thoroughness slipped over the final six months, with couches and floors left unvacuumed. A May 2024 one-star review described a booking confirmed for a specific date and then cancelled the day before; a March 2023 one-star reviewer said no one showed for a scheduled estimate. Older Angi reviews from 2017 and 2019 raised rotating staff, a shower door damaged by the wrong products, and a crew that stopped coming without notice. A July 2025 reviewer also mentioned a language barrier with the cleaners, handled with a translation app. Two 2025 reviewers called the deep clean pricey but worth it.

Almeida's looks like a strong choice for a MetroWest household that wants a thorough deep clean or a dependable recurring service and values a responsive owner. Confirm the date and scope in writing, say which products you want used, and agree on how missed or shortened visits will be handled.

**Strengths:**
- Thorough deep cleans — reviewers cite rugs lifted, fans, baseboards, grout scrubbed
- Post-renovation cleanup — condo transformed from uninhabitable in two hours
- Loyal recurring clients — families of two and four years keep booking
- Responsive owner — Emmanuelle praised for fast quotes and scheduling
- Current record — 11 reviews in the last six months, none negative
- Commercial cleaning — store and office deep cleans praised

**Concerns:**
- Consistency over time — 2025 long-term client saw thoroughness slip
- Scheduling reliability — 2024 last-minute cancellation, 2023 estimate no-show
- Rotating staff — older Angi reviews cite changing crews and product damage
- Language barrier — 2025 reviewer used a translation app with the crew
- Deep clean pricing — two 2025 reviewers called it pricey but worth it

**Where sources disagree:**
- The website says the company has served the MetroWest since 2001 but also describes itself as having over 10 years of experience.
- Angi and HomeAdvisor show the same 4.6 from 48 ratings, reflecting one mirrored profile rather than two independent sources.
- Reviewers refer to the owner as Emmanuelle and Emanuelle; some describe the service as 'she' and others as a team of two or more cleaners.
