Last 6 months: 4 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read A leak in an above-ground pool sent one 2026 customer to Aloha Swimming Pools & Spas, and it turned into a new liner with repairs to the walls. That 2026 customer said the company explained what needed to be done to do it right rather than patch it, then recommended a new DE filter over the old sand one, and reported less vacuuming and clearer water afterward. Liner work is where Aloha's recent jobs sit. A 2026 customer wrote that Justin, the owner, and his crew installed a new liner and that Justin explained everything, and told readers to call Aloha in Cheshire. A 2026 customer said the new pool liner was installed by the Aloha crew and that it transformed the patio. Opening and closing pools is the routine side. A 2025 customer who had switched companies said Aloha closed the pool and that "the pool never opened so cleanly." A 2022 customer who was new to pool ownership said Aloha set an appointment to open the pool and, when a filter problem turned up, installed a new one the same week. A 2024 customer said the staff guided them through bringing back an in-ground pool that had sat for 8 years. Hot tubs come through the door too. A 2023 customer said parts to bring a hot tub back were ordered quickly and the pricing was good. A 2022 customer said Ashley used a water test to show what was wrong with a hot tub bought from another retailer. A 2022 customer said they preferred getting chemicals from Aloha because "they won't sell you what you don't need!" On Google, Aloha holds 4.9 stars from 49 ratings. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0627795, held by Aloha Swimming Pools & Spas LLC, as inactive due to non-renewal. **Strengths:** - Liner install — a 2026 customer said Justin and his crew put one in - Leak fixed right — a 2026 customer said they explained the proper repair - Same-week filter install — a 2022 customer said a new filter went in quickly - Hot tub water test — a 2022 customer said Ashley found what was wrong ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9 stars from 49 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Aloha%20Swimming%20Pools%20%26%20Spas&query_place_id=ChIJFejVNYXa54kRHtUyS1KklsU) — “Google: 4.9★ from 49 ratings” - A 2026 customer said a pool leak was fixed with a new liner and wall repairs, followed by a new DE filter _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25KMFV6RnpPVEZEYWpoc2REVmxUbTVGYzFGMmNYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc596a4524b32d51e!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnJ0UzFzOTFDajhsdDVlTm5Fc1F2cXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I have used them for a few years for my regular pool and hot tub stuff.
