Its website reports 42 years in business and lists additions, garages, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, finished basements, decks, porches, pergolas and porticos, sunrooms, and door and window replacement. It says it is insured and offers free estimates, and names a service area that includes Uxbridge, Northbridge, Milford, Bellingham, Franklin, Medway and Mansfield. In a 2023 Google review, the company renovated a kitchen and opened it into the living room, and Mike covered the old brick of a wood fireplace and made a mantle; the same review says he used mats and plastic and cleaned up each day. A 2022 review says Mike and his partner extended a deck 6 feet to an above ground pool. In a 2021 review, Michael replaced 9 Andersen windows on the front of a home and repaired a large bay window at the rear, and the installations were called precise. A separate 2021 review says the company built an attached two-car garage and breezeway addition, later remodeled a bathroom and kitchen, and straightened old, sagging walls before tiling the bathroom floor to ceiling. Another 2021 review lists a new bathroom, roof, windows, siding and a 33' x 13' shed among the projects the company completed over the years. In a further 2021 review, Mike did a small siding job on a porch upgrade and a major bathroom upgrade, bringing in sub-contractors for plumbing and electrical, and he used floor mats, blankets and floor-to-ceiling plastic. A 2021 review also says he installed new exterior trim, gutters and a new window. **Strengths:** - Kitchen and bath remodels — full kitchen and bathroom remodels in 2021 and 2023 reviews - Window replacement — nine Andersen windows installed precisely, per a 2021 review - Clean job sites — mats, plastic and daily cleanup in 2021 and 2023 reviews ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Self-reported 42 years in business _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.americanbuilding.com) — “Self-reported 42 years in business” - Lists additions, garages, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, finished basements, decks, porches, sunrooms, and door and window replacement _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.americanbuilding.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Our Services Additions Garages Kitchen Remodeling Finished Basements Bathroom Remodeling Decks Porches,Perg…” - States it is insured _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.americanbuilding.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): insured” - States it offers free estimates _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.americanbuilding.com) — “Stated offer (self-reported): free estimates” - Service area includes Uxbridge, Northbridge, Milford, Bellingham, Franklin, Medway and Mansfield _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.americanbuilding.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Uxbridge, Douglas, Northbridge, Upton, Milford, Holliston, Medway, Millis, Medfield, Bellingham, Frankl…” - In a 2023 review, the company renovated a kitchen into an open floor plan and Mike made a mantle over an old brick fireplace _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNCNy1hTjJRRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xa9ec3b1ff7db963a!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICB7-aN2QE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I hired American builders and remodeling to renovate my kitchen and make an open floor plan into the living room.
