Anc" doc_version: "2026-10-05" last_updated: "2026-10-05" --- # Anchor Fence LLC **Trade:** Fencing · **Address:** 2 Bragdon Ln #1, Kennebunk, ME 04043 · **Phone:** (207) 985-6018 · **Website:** https://anchorfencemaine.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.9/5** (low confidence) — from 4 reviews across 7 sources. ## The honest read A recent customer chose Anchor Fence on the recommendation of a local architect/builder, after another fencing company said no one could get red cedar. Anchor said it was about 8 weeks out, and the customer says that is exactly when the fence was installed: a 3-rail, 4 ft red cedar fence with 2 gates and black mesh wire so the dogs cannot escape, put in over 3 days. The customer has a lot of ledge, and says Anchor did not tack on upcharges and the cost matched the estimate. Anchor Fence LLC holds 4.8 stars from 121 Google ratings and an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau, where it is listed as accredited. The company says it has been in business 44 years and takes on residential and commercial fence work; its BBB profile lists cedar, vinyl, chain-link and aluminum fences, pool fences, gates and railings. One recent customer says everyone at Anchor Fence was a delight to work with, from Bob LaChance to the crew that put the fence in. A recent customer says the installation was done in 3 hours or less, and one calls the price very fair. **Strengths:** - A red cedar fence — installed after another company said none was available - An on-time install — fence went in when the 8-week estimate said - Cost matched estimate — a recent customer saw no upcharges despite ledge ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer's 3-rail, 4 ft red cedar fence with 2 gates and black mesh wire was installed in 3 days _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tac1NsbEVMVTVhWHpCUVVrZ3dlRWhXY1hKS1dIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb2fbdb26352a443!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkZsSllELU5aXzBQUkgweEhWcXJKWHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ I choose Anchor based on the recommendaton of a local architect/builder and I am very glad I did.
