## The honest read

A 2025 customer said Anderson Landscaping replaced a worn out culvert, and that its price was not the highest of the four bids they received. That 2025 customer said the heavy-machinery operators left the worksite "in pristine condition," and that when a small thing had to be fixed after the work was done, they came over the next day and repaired it.

On its BBB profile the company describes itself as a landscaping and design business that also installs patios, stonewalls, walkways, planting, lawns and ponds, and says it was established and incorporated in 1986 in Maine. A 2025 customer wrote that they rely on Anderson Landscaping for both landscaping and plowing snow.

A 2014 customer described a major restoration of terraces that included placing 30 4' granite steps, a drainage system the company devised, and a finish of sod and ready-to-plant gardens. A 2015 customer said Anderson designed and built an outdoor patio, spa enclosure, fire pit, and cooking and dining area for them.

A 2016 customer said Jenn, who created the design for the front of their house, authorized an additional charge of between $4,000 and $5,000 when the paving company needed to add an extra base coat to a larger part of their driveway, and that they did not find out about the charge until they were presented with the bill.

**Strengths:**
- Culvert replacement — a 2025 customer said the worksite was left pristine
- A next-day fix — a 2025 customer said they returned the next day
- Granite terrace steps — a 2014 customer described 30 granite steps placed

**Concerns:**
- An unannounced charge — a 2016 customer learned of $4,000–$5,000 at billing
