## The honest read

Anthony's Junk Removal lists hot tub, shed, swingset and trampoline removal on its website, along with estate, hoarder, eviction and storage unit cleanouts. The company's stated service area takes in Danbury, Bethel, Ridgefield, Wilton, Brookfield, New Milford, New Fairfield, Norwalk and Westport. On Google it shows 5 stars from 180 ratings.

One recent customer had a storage unit to empty and did not need to be there: once the facility opened the lock, Anthony went over that same day and sent a photo when the unit was completely empty. A customer whose parents were renovating a townhouse texted Anthony pictures and video of scrap lumber, junk AC units, a sink and sheet rock; on the day, Anthony texted his ETA, and when they were done they swept up and offered to mop. A first-time customer said Anthony came by himself, did all the loading himself and charged what he said he would. Someone who reached out in the morning said he showed up a few hours later.

A 2026 customer said it took them less than 10 minutes to remove a large couch and ottoman from the top floor of the home. A 2025 customer said other junk removal companies quoted $200 higher than Anthony did. A 2025 customer said Anthony scheduled a hot tub removal within a limited time frame, was on time and cleaned up well.

A 2023 customer said others could not take a "non-standard" fridge, and Anthony had it out the same day. A 2022 customer said Anthony took down an above-ground pool and deck and hauled away the debris in one day. A 2022 customer said he took a very large entertainment center apart to remove it, taking care not to scratch walls or doors.

**Strengths:**
- Storage unit cleanout — emptied the same day, with a photo when done
- Sweeping up afterward — they swept up and offered to mop after one haul
- A lower quote — a 2025 customer said others quoted $200 higher
- Same-day fridge removal — a 2023 customer said he had it out the same day
