# Apex Remodeling inc **Trade:** General Contractor / Remodeling · **Address:** Wilbur Ct, Saugus, MA 01906, USA · **Phone:** (617) 501-3943 · **Website:** https://apexremodelinginc.net/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 5.0/5** (high confidence) — from 39 reviews across 4 sources. 100% of sentiment-scored reviews read net-positive. Last 6 months: 1 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Apex Remodeling is a Saugus general contractor run by Eddie Santos, and its record is unusual in one specific way: alongside kitchen and bathroom remodels, a large share of its reviews describe rebuilding homes after a fire or flood. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and state-verified, and it describes itself as handling remodeling, construction, flood and fire restoration, roofing, painting, tile, siding, drywall, and plastering. The written record is deep and essentially unblemished: 39 reviews from 2023 through early 2026, every one five stars, plus a positive 2023 Reddit mention praising a bathroom renovation for its fair price and lack of surprises. Several reviews describe Apex stepping in after a fire or flood - one customer whose house was torn down and rebuilt after a devastating fire, another whose four condo units took a year-long fire restoration through an exhaustive insurance claim and code upgrade process, and a third whose flooded home needed drywall and flooring redone fast without sacrificing quality. Outside of restoration work, reviewers describe full basement and attic finishes, kitchen remodels, multiple bathroom renovations (including a full gut of an elderly parent's apartment with new flooring, kitchen, and a walk-in shower), a garage converted into a livable space for a family member, structural work involving load-bearing walls, and a full front-and-back porch rebuild on a triple-decker in a tight, crowded lot. A consistent thread across the reviews is Eddie's own responsiveness and detail - reviewers repeatedly describe him being the first contractor to respond, providing detailed quotes within hours or a day, and presenting multiple design options before work begins. Several reviewers say they've hired Apex more than once and plan to again. There's no complaint anywhere in this three-year written record. For a bathroom or kitchen remodel, a structural renovation, or recovery from fire or flood damage in the Saugus and North Shore area, this is a deep and consistent track record - the fire and flood restoration work in particular is a specialty worth knowing about even if it's not what first brings a homeowner to the listing. **Strengths:** - Fire and flood restoration - repeated, detailed praise for disaster recovery work - Fast, detailed quotes - reviewers cite same-day or next-day responsiveness - Unblemished record - all 39 reviews on file since 2023 are five stars ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Massachusetts home improvement contractor license 209336 verified active _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 209336 verified active” - All 39 reviews on file, from 2023 to 2026, are five stars, plus a positive 2023 Reddit mention _(confidence: high)_ - [reddit.com](https://www.reddit.com/r/Somerville/comments/160j0tt/bathroom_reno_contractor_recommendations/jxqaq75/) — “r/Somerville — [Apex Remodeling](https://apexremodelinginc.net/) (Melrose, MA) did impressive work for our bathroom reno, fair price, no sur…” - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25oNlIzRlRWR0pUZURFeFExaFVhSEZhYUVwa1UzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xd964575ed2db1188!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnh6R3FTVGJTeDExQ1hUaHFaaEpkU3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Apex totally transformed our basement and attic!
