The sales side gets singled out often: Aimee (spelled Amie in some reviews) walks buyers through manufacturer, dealer-group and Massachusetts MassSave rebates — in a 2024 review, one customer credited her with laying out a $500 rebate for switching a natural-gas cooktop to induction, and getting Bosch to swap a refrigerator door that arrived damaged. On the service side, technicians named Mike and John come up for fixing ovens and washers on the spot, sometimes explaining the problem at no charge. In a 2023 review, one customer said Appliance Corner wasn't taking new service clients but still looked up the part they needed and walked them through a DIY dryer-heating-element swap over the phone, saving them a couple hundred dollars. Pricing gets called out as competitive with, or cheaper than, both big-box stores and local competitors in several reviews. The one dissent, a 2026 three-star review, described prices running a bit higher than expected and the store getting busy enough that help can be hard to find. The Better Business Bureau lists the business with an A+ rating, though it notes Appliance Corner is not BBB-accredited. **Strengths:** - Rebate guidance — Aimee walked buyers through manufacturer and MassSave rebates - DIY phone support — walked a customer through a dryer repair - No-charge diagnostics — technicians explain fixes at no extra cost - Nextdoor recommendation — praised for repeat appliance repairs **Concerns:** - Pricing gripes — a 2026 review called prices higher than expected ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Independent appliance dealer in Lawrence, open since 1995 _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.appliancecorner.com) — “Appliance Corner is an independent appliance store at 199 Lowell Street, Lawrence MA that sells cooking, refrigeration, laundry, dishwasher,…” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/lawrence/profile/major-appliance-dealers/appliance-corner-0021-77245) — “BBB profile for Appliance Corner, 199 Lowell St, Lawrence MA 01840-1016 — a corporation categorised as a Major Appliance Dealer, business st…” - Sells and services cooking, refrigeration, laundry, dishwasher, grilling and air-control appliances with a parts-and-service desk _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://www.appliancecorner.com) — “Appliance Corner is an independent appliance store at 199 Lowell Street, Lawrence MA that sells cooking, refrigeration, laundry, dishwasher,…” - Google rating of 4.7★ from 64 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Appliance%20Corner&query_place_id=ChIJ3aAnAqIH44kRFO7zgDMvRX8) — “Google: 4.7★ from 64 ratings” - Better Business Bureau lists an A+ rating while noting the business is not BBB-accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/lawrence/profile/major-appliance-dealers/appliance-corner-0021-77245) — “BBB profile for Appliance Corner, 199 Lowell St, Lawrence MA 01840-1016 — a corporation categorised as a Major Appliance Dealer, business st…” - A 2024 review credited Aimee with laying out manufacturer and MassSave rebates _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNOaDk2Rm9nRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x7f452f3380f3ee14!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICNh96FogE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Aimee is wonderful to work with and a great advisor. The store can get quite busy, making it hard to find assistance at times. Overall, it's a convenient spot for gadgets, but there's definitely room for improvement. - **5/5 · Google Reviews · Wanda Johnson · 2026-04-10**: I thought I knew everything there was to know about washing clothes. Well, Mike made a service call, and I learned something new. Loading washer by weight of clothes yields a quieter spin cycle and clothes dry more evenly. Thank you, Appliance Corner. - **5/5 · Google Reviews · Marilyn DelDonno · 2025-12-22**: We have had wonderful experiences ordering appliances here.
