## The honest read

When a fridge died on a very warm day, Matt from Appliance Techs got to the house within an hour, diagnosed the problem, ordered the replacement part, which took a few days to arrive, and got the refrigerator running very quickly. The Ashland appliance repair business holds 4.9 stars from 132 Google ratings and 4.9 from 55 on Thumbtack.

Another customer called Matthew about a gas dryer that was not drying clothes around 2 pm; he showed up by 5:20 pm and had it fixed within an hour with replacement parts for gas valves he had in his truck. Matthew also showed up the same day a customer called to fix a dishwasher. Matt called one customer back within about 5 minutes, watched the video they sent, and assessed that the cost to fix the washer would exceed the cost of a new one.

In a 2021 Thumbtack review, Matthew broke down a customer's 40-year-old Maytag and rebuilt it, bearings, hubs and seals included.
