--- title: "Arrow Fence Co., Inc." description: "Arrow Fence has sold and installed fencing from its Marlborough showroom since 1969, and it's still run by the same family — Jake Sullivan is president tod" doc_version: "2026-08-19" last_updated: "2026-08-19" --- # Arrow Fence Co., Inc. **Trade:** Fencing · **Address:** 360 South St, Marlborough, MA 01752 · **Phone:** (508) 485-3334 · **Website:** https://arrowfenceonline.com · **Languages:** English **Rating: 3.0/5** (low confidence) — from 2 reviews across 5 sources. ## The honest read Arrow Fence has sold and installed fencing from its Marlborough showroom since 1969, and it's still run by the same family — Jake Sullivan is president today, and the two customer reviews on file, from 2014 and 2017, both name him personally as the person who ran the job. In a 2017 review, a homeowner described a custom privacy fence that Jake and his team installed, saying he walked them through material, design, installation and upkeep options before the finished fence turned out beautiful enough that they still get compliments on it. In a 2014 review, another customer credited him with a fence built on a difficult lot, calling the finished product gorgeous and describing the crew as responsive, with the job site left tidy and secure at the end of each working day on a multi-day install. Houzz separately shows a 5.0-star average across those two reviews, five listed projects, and a Houzz Award and Badge. More recently, a 2023 Reddit thread has a Marlborough resident mentioning about $10,000 for roughly half an acre of vinyl fencing with two gates on a hilly lot, noting the price appeared to include the survey and permits — a useful data point on scope and cost rather than an account of the work itself. The company's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active and registry-verified, and the Better Business Bureau has accredited it since 1998 with an A+ rating. It describes itself as family-owned, working chain link, wood, vinyl, ornamental aluminum and pool fencing across the MetroWest towns from Marlborough out to Framingham and Concord. The written customer record here is dated — the two on-file reviews both describe Jake personally running the job back in 2014 and 2017 — so it's worth asking for a couple of recent references before signing. **Strengths:** - Owner-led installs — Jake personally ran both on-file projects - Custom privacy fencing — praised for design options, tidy finish - Long-standing family business — Marlborough shop running since 1969 - BBB accredited — A+ rating since 1998 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#187347) is registry-verified active, held by Arrow Fence Co Inc. _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 187347 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Arrow Fence Co Inc” - Better Business Bureau accredited since 1998 with an A+ rating; the family business started in 1969, led by president Jake Sullivan. _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/marlborough/profile/fence-contractors/arrow-fence-co-inc-0021-39148) — “BBB profile for Arrow Fence Co., Inc. at 360 South St, Marlborough MA 01752-5134: BBB Accredited since 2/27/1998 with an A+ rating, Business…” - In a 2017 review, a customer described a custom privacy fence Jake and his team installed, praising his knowledge of materials, design and upkeep and saying they still get compliments on it. _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/fencing-and-gate-sales-and-construction/arrow-fence-co-inc-pfvwus-pf~1922519998) — “5★ We had a custom made privacy fence installed recently and we love it!!
