Brandon is named in nine reviews, two of which call him the project manager. A July 2026 reviewer had a roof replaced in a single day on an insurance claim and wrote, "I keep checking for loose nails... but have not found any even in the garden beds." An October 2025 customer with hail damage wrote that Tanner "worked directly with the insurance company" and that afterwards "the yard was so clean it was like they were never here." In 2024, Google reviewers described a chimney's upper section rebuilt in one day and two chimneys torn out and rebuilt with a new roof. A January 2023 reviewer had aluminum siding replaced with vinyl. The company's site lists roofing, gutters, siding, windows, doors and deck building, and cites 9 years in business. A 2025 Reddit commenter wrote that its window quote was "the lowest out of our other 2 quotes." Nine reviews carry complaints. In October 2026 a one-star reviewer wrote that after an estimate a month earlier there were "no answers to my phone calls." A September 2026 two-star reviewer asked for real plywood and found OSB in the contract, and felt they paid "about $2,000 more" than other quotes. An August 2026 two-star reviewer wrote that the ridge vent the salesperson suggested "was NOT installed" and that they were not informed; another August 2026 reviewer wrote "I was wildly overcharged." A March 2025 one-star reviewer wrote that roofing was good but "siding was a nightmare," with a door taking three attempts to hang. An August 2024 three-star reviewer described a section with no flashing that leaks and damaged siding and gutter left unfixed. A December 2022 reviewer described trouble getting a deposit back after financing fell through, a 2020 Angi reviewer was charged $499 for an estimate, and a 2017 Angi reviewer wrote "they took the money upfront and never completed the work." The state lists the Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0651418, held by Artisan Building & Remodeling LLC, as active. **Strengths:** - One-day roofs — four reviews describe a roof done in a day - Clean yards — six reviews say nothing was left behind - Insurance claims — reviewers describe staff working with insurers **Concerns:** - Unreturned calls — October 2026 reviewer heard nothing after an estimate - Material swap — September 2026 reviewer found OSB, not plywood - Skipped ridge vent — August 2026 reviewer says it was not installed - Unfixed leak — August 2024 reviewer describes missing flashing ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The state lists Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0651418, held by ARTISAN BUILDING & REMODELING LLC, as active _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0651418 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: ARTISAN BUILDING & REMODELING LLC” - Google 4.7 stars from 478 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Artisan%20Building%20and%20Remodeling%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJd6WAMlhK5okRu_h0WGiHJFE) — “Google: 4.7★ from 478 ratings” - Brandon named in nine reviews, two calling him project manager _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tKdVdqTkRWRUZWYlhWbk9WOXZTVEV3U1c5TVpHYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x512487685874f8bb!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkJuWjNDVEFVbXVnOV9vSTEwSW9MZGc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I had my gutters replaced last year and then water was pouring over the gutters I called and Brandon and Jacob came out and fixed it..…” - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xSWFRrSlphbFk1YWw5R2JUTnRYM3BIUWpoT2NrRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x512487685874f8bb!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlRXTkJZalY5al9GbTNtX3pHQjhOckE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I want to say THANK YOU very much for an amazing job and very well done from start to finish.
