The reviewer named Marc Miller and raised detailed complaints about charges, construction mistakes and access to receipts. The customer said a survey was charged at $6,800, although the surveyor told them it cost approximately $3,400. They also reported a $2,800 engineering charge against an invoice for $1,830, and said Miller added a garage-floor charge after saying he had forgotten to include that cost. The same reviewer said a stair landing prevented their car from entering the garage without hitting its edge. They attributed the problem to Miller's miscalculations and said they were charged to rebuild it. They also alleged that he refused to provide receipts or invoices for questioned payments. These were the customer's allegations in that June 2025 review. **Concerns:** - Unfinished project — a June 2025 reviewer reported half completion after almost a year - Disputed charges — a June 2025 reviewer alleged survey and engineering cost discrepancies - Garage access — a June 2025 reviewer reported an obstructing stair landing - Payment documentation — a June 2025 reviewer alleged refusal to provide requested receipts ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A June 2025 reviewer said they ended a garage-and-mudroom contract almost a year after signing with the project about 50% complete. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2swNFdYUnFhRFJoYTBkSlZHMXJhRWR0TFVZemFIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x135fc99fd9b77f2b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk04WXRqaDRha0dJVG1raEdtLUYzaHc%7C%7C?hl=en) — “1★ Do not hire Marc Miller from At Your Service Home Renovations.
