## The honest read

A leak dripping into a family room brought one recent customer to Atlantic Home Restoration. Alex traced the source to the shower floor rather than the drains, pipes or the adjacent bathroom, and the customer said the final job was very nicely done.

A recent customer was very satisfied with a shower replacement and said Alex and the team cleaned up at the end of each day. A recent customer said the company did a complete deck replacement on time and on budget. In a 2026 review, a customer who needed a tub surround and floor tiled on a tight timeline said George came to see the job the same day, gave a quote on the spot and worked through Easter weekend. A 2026 customer hired Alex to tile a tub surround and said he corrected problems in the customer's own construction.

The company says it has 25 years in business, and its website describes cabinet restoration that cleans, stains and seals cabinets. It holds an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau and 5 stars from 53 Google ratings.

A 2025 customer said Alex and his team renovated a master and guest bathroom, a project that broke down the wall between the two rooms and relocated plumbing, electrical and some duct work; that customer said Alex worked directly with the architect, plumber and electrician. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said they first hired the company for a roof repair and then moved on to a complete home renovation, and that when some materials did not arrive on schedule, the team worked overtime to finish within the promised timeframe.

A 2024 customer said Alex controlled the mess during the demolition of a master bathroom and installed the tile evenly in an old house with uneven walls. A 2023 customer said Alex and his crew painted and put down new flooring. A 2018 Angi customer said Alex did the tile work plus the rough carpentry, demolition, waterproofing and layouts. A 2016 customer who needed a shower floor regrouted said Alex explained what he planned to do and gave a very reasonable price, though he had to come a few times to complete the job.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0666013, as active, held by Atlantic Home Restoration LLC.

- A deck replacement — a recent customer said it finished on time and budget
- A weekend turnaround — a 2026 customer said George worked Easter weekend
- Multi-trade coordination — a 2025 customer said Alex worked with the plumber and electrician
