## The honest read

Atlantic Paint & Contracting is a North Kingstown painting company that homeowners hire to repaint the outside of their houses. A recent customer said the job was done within the time frame they requested and the price was reasonable.

A 2025 Thumbtack customer said they hired the company to paint the exterior of their home in East Greenwich, and that foreman Mike Badessa gave input on color selection and surface preparation. A 2023 customer said the house needed exterior paint, and that they came out, took photos and wrote up a quote explaining everything they would be doing. A 2022 customer who owns an old home said the prep work included scraping, sanding and board replacements. A 2021 customer said Ray's crew power washed the house and did custom wood work where some rot damage existed before painting. A 2024 customer said they replaced the light bulbs in outdoor fixtures that were too high to reach, and cleaned up the job site every night.

A 2025 customer said touch-up work on white trim they were told about was never done, and that paint tubs were washed out on the lawn. A 2021 customer said the paint on their house peeled off, that Ray kept saying he would fix it, and that Ray then stopped answering their calls.

- Old-home prep — a 2022 customer described scraping, sanding and board replacements
