## The honest read

A water heater that died, and Tony called back in minutes and got it replaced the same day: that is how one recent customer described hiring Badaracco Plumbing & Heating. The Norwalk company's website lists boiler installs and repair, on-demand and tank water heaters, gas piping and winterization, and it says it has been in business 28 years.

A recent customer said Nico and his team fixed leaky pipes behind a shower insert, plus a leaking shower head in another bathroom. A recent customer said they came super fast after a leak in the kitchen ceiling overnight. A recent customer had a hot water heater replaced and called the service quick and the price reasonable.

A 2026 customer said Tony, Nico and Shawn got them back up and running on Super Bowl Sunday after their boiler quit and their pipes froze. A 2026 customer said they found where the water was blocked in a cold-weather pipe and heated it up to get it flowing again. A 2025 customer said a new boiler was quickly ordered, delivered and installed after a late winter boiler failure, and that the 900 lb boiler had to go up on a 4 ft high platform. A 2024 customer said the company re-piped their place and that several months later they had not had a single issue.

A 2024 Google customer gave two stars after being charged about $1,200 to replace a shower-release lever and a handheld showerhead holder, and said it was fixed after two visits. A 2024 Angi customer called a tankless water heater repair drastically over priced, citing $250 for the initial hour and $95 an hour per plumber for two plumbers. A 2023 customer said Tony charged hundreds of dollars for a 5 minute job. A 2023 Angi reviewer described a Greenwich kitchen, seven-bathroom and laundry renovation that left a home full of leaking faucets and improperly plumbed showers. A 2020 Angi customer said a fee for a visit to check their water heater was never disclosed.

Its Connecticut P1 plumbing licence, PLM.0282797-P1, is active, held by Badaracco Plumbing & Heating Inc.

**Strengths:**
- Same-day water heater — a recent customer had one replaced the same day
- A frozen pipe — a 2026 customer said they found the blockage and thawed it
- A boiler replacement — a 2025 customer had a 900 lb boiler installed

**Concerns:**
- Labor fees — a 2024 customer paid about $1,200 for two shower parts
- A Greenwich renovation — a 2023 Angi reviewer reported leaking faucets afterward
- An undisclosed fee — a 2020 customer said a visit fee was not disclosed
