That customer said he explained what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it, and called the price very fair. A customer who had been quoted $5800 for a new water heater by another company said Chris found the water heater was not the problem, only a disconnected discharge valve from the water softener, and did not charge for that fix; he replaced an older holding tank with a small leak. A customer said Chris found a leak in the line from the well into the house and, on a Saturday afternoon, hand dug a hole to reach the line and fixed it. A customer said a toilet was replaced in less than an hour and called the price fair and reasonable. A 2025 customer said the company replaced their water heater and installed a PRV for a fair price. A 2025 customer said a two faucet shower was changed to a one faucet shower, with everything left totally clean. A 2025 customer said Chris unclogged a sink drain within an hour. A 2024 customer said Chris re-routed the home's hot and cold water lines and checked his work for leaks once done. On Google, Badger Plumbing shows 5 stars from 199 ratings. Its Connecticut P1 plumbing contractor licence, PLM.0287505-P1, is active, held by Badger's Plumbing & Heating. **Strengths:** - Same-day scheduling — a customer with no water got a same-day visit - A free valve fix — a customer said Chris did not charge for it - A quick toilet swap — a customer said it took less than an hour - A clean worksite — a 2025 customer said everything was left totally clean ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Chris, the owner, answered the phone and scheduled a same-day visit for a customer with no water _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tGamFHSk9SbU5qYTBGck9GUlJiRWRmVGxGU2NuYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x23e4b8d3dfc11c19!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkFjaGJORmNja0FrOFRRbEdfTlFScnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Last night, our water stopped working, and of course, my husband was 5.5 hours away on a fishing trip.
