## The honest read

Baker Home Inspections is a home inspection business that says it has 13 years in business. Its website lists a service area that runs from Keene, Peterborough, Rindge, Fitzwilliam and Walpole into Vermont, naming Brattleboro, Bennington, Rutland and Burlington among others.

A 2026 first-time buyer said Rich answered their questions, explained what would be flagged in his report, and delivered the report the same day. A 2024 customer said Rich met them on a Sunday to inspect a home in Dover, VT, and praised his knowledge of older homes.

A 2022 customer said Richard replied within an hour of the first message, sent calendar invites and reminders, and arrived 5 or 10 minutes before the scheduled time. That 2022 customer received the report an hour after the inspection, with photos attached and arrows pointing to problem spots, and paid by card through a link Richard sent.

A 2025 reviewer who wrote as a real estate professional said Richard returned reports within 24 hours. A 2021 customer buying a house in Vermont from out of state said Rick Baker walked them through everything and made recommendations about future renovations.
