On Google it shows 5 stars from 27 ratings; HomeAdvisor and Angi each show 4.9 stars from 32 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. One recent Google customer had LVP flooring installed in 2024 by an installer who denied responsibility when it cracked. Justin assessed it, showed what should have been done, and his estimate to rip up the LVP and install new flooring came in below what that customer had previously paid. Justin suggested engineered hardwood, and he and Jacqui went with the customer to pick it out. A recent Google customer who had them install laminate in a finished basement several years ago brought them back to install wood flooring in a new home. A recent Google customer said Justin responded immediately and scheduled a visit when a caulk seal broke a week after the work was complete. A 2025 Thumbtack customer said Justin replaced vinyl planks that had to be ripped up after a toilet leak, and that it took them 2 hours. A 2023 Google customer said they removed marble tiling from a foyer, which was more work than anticipated, and installed hardwood flooring there. In a 2023 Thumbtack review, a customer wrote that Justin created the custom trims and baseboards while "the wife pushed forward on the demo." A 2021 Angi customer said that in the fall of 2019 they laid new hardwoods and baseboards across a main level of about 2,000 square feet, removing the old tile and carpet. A 2021 Google reviewer who described themselves as a flooring supplier in Denver, Colorado said they worked with the Barclays for about 5 years before the couple moved to Connecticut. **Strengths:** - Cracked LVP replacement — a recent customer's estimate came in below the original cost - Help choosing flooring — Jacqui went with a recent customer to pick it out - Quick plank repair — a 2025 customer said it took them 2 hours - Foyer tile removal — a 2023 customer said they then installed hardwood ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Lists Danbury, Denver and Medford as its service areas and says it has been in business 15 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.barclayflooring.com) — “Self-reported 15 years in business” - [Official Website](http://www.barclayflooring.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Denver, Danbury, Medford” - 5 stars from 27 Google ratings; 4.9 stars from 32 ratings on both HomeAdvisor and Angi _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Barclay%20Flooring&query_place_id=ChIJD2xZGztjbIcRI7IZXHBw8_s) — “Google: 5★ from 27 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/barclay-flooring-installation-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.9★ from 32 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.BarclayFlooring.84310055.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.9★ from 32 ratings” - BBB grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/hardwood-floor-contractors/barclay-flooring-installation-llc-0111-110098643) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A recent customer's estimate to replace cracked LVP with new flooring came in below what they had previously paid _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25aVFZYZEVkMUF5TjNGMlMwWjRPRmhJVEdvMlJtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xfbf370705c19b223!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnZTVXdEd1AyN3F2S0Z4OFhITGo2Rmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We had LVP flooring installed in the spring of 2024 which started cracking in winter of 2025 and needed to be replaced.
