## The honest read

Barreto’s Hardscape and Fence holds 5 stars from 10 Google ratings. A 2025 customer said they terraced a hill using engineered retaining wall block, and that each block weighed 80 pounds and they laid hundreds. That 2025 customer said the cap blocks were each mitered, and that they were finishing a paver walkway leading to a fire pit with a round paver patio and a half-circle bench. In an update to that 2025 review, the customer said the project was completed on time and on budget.

A recent customer says Emanoel was very responsive and his prices were better, and that the whole project took one day. That customer says a week passed between first contact and completion only because they were waiting for their landscapers to clear out brush.

A 2025 customer said Emanoel and his team worked on several projects at their home over more than five years, including patio pavers, veneer stone, fencing and a bocce court. A 2025 customer said they did the fence and stone walls around the house. A 2025 customer said Barreto’s worked with them on a plan that met their needs and budget and kept them updated on the project status. A 2026 customer said the fencing and paving work looked clean and solid, the work area was kept organized and the job finished on time.

**Strengths:**
- Retaining wall terracing — a 2025 customer said they laid hundreds of 80-pound blocks
- One-day project — a recent customer says the whole job took one day
- Long-term repeat work — a 2025 customer said several projects spanned over five years
- On-budget completion — a 2025 customer said the terrace finished on time and budget
