The clearest account is a finished stone patio: a December 2020 review said the homeowner fell for the backyard afterward and called the crew professional throughout. Two other reviews from that same winter describe a fast response even in bad weather, and a separate customer named Daryl specifically as easy to work with. All four ratings on file came back 4 or 5 stars, matching Thumbtack's own 4.8 aggregate. Every written account on file dates to December 2020 through January 2021 — there is nothing more recent to confirm current turnaround or crew size, so it is worth asking directly about recent jobs before booking. For patio, brick, or stone repair work, the early record reads consistently positive; just check on what they have completed lately. **Strengths:** - Patio work — a 2020 review praised the finished stone patio - Fast response — reviewers in December 2020 cited quick, professional service - High Thumbtack rating — 4.8 stars from four reviews, mostly five-star **Concerns:** - Dated review record — all four reviews run December 2020 to January 2021 ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Offers masonry construction, brick and stone repair, and concrete work, per its Thumbtack profile _(confidence: medium)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ma/waltham/masonry-contractors/bay-state-masonry-chimney-restoration/service/407524880301367302) — “Services offered (Thumbtack): Pressure Washing, Masonry Construction Services, Home Waterproofing, Asphalt Installation, Concrete Repair and…” - A December 2020 review praised a finished stone patio and called the crew professional _(confidence: medium)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ma/waltham/masonry-contractors/bay-state-masonry-chimney-restoration/service/407524880301367302) — “Stone luxury did a great on my patio, really love the professionalism I really recommend them, so in love with my backyard now” - Reviewers in December 2020 described a fast, professional response even in bad weather _(confidence: medium)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ma/waltham/masonry-contractors/bay-state-masonry-chimney-restoration/service/407524880301367302) — “They were awesome!
