A recent customer hired it after water damage for ceiling repair and insulation replacement, and said Besim communicated early and often about any extra materials needed. A recent customer in Fairfield CT had rotted exterior wood trim replaced and a stair handrail installed, and said a few extra things were done at no additional charge. A 2025 customer said Besim and the BD Builders team finished a complete master bathroom renovation on time and on budget. A 2025 customer described an extensive project that included structural wall and chimney removal, full-house painting, crown molding and electrical work. A 2026 customer said BD Builders renovated a 4,500 square foot commercial office space, and that Besim was on site every day. A 2023 customer said Besim and his brother Dem installed flooring and painted kitchen cabinets, then cleaned and put everything back in place. A 2023 customer had trim swapped from rotten wood to PVC and said Bessim reached out after the final payment to fix paint chips caused by weather. That 2023 customer also said the cost of options was discussed before any extra work was done. A 2022 customer said Besim came out the same day to look at bubbling, flaking paint at a 5-building townhouse complex and provided a quote that evening. **Strengths:** - Master bath renovation — a 2025 customer said it finished on time and on budget - PVC trim swap — a 2023 customer had rotten wood trim replaced - Cost talks upfront — a 2023 customer said options were priced before extra work - Same-day estimate — a 2024 customer said Besim gave an estimate same day ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Says it has over 10 years of experience in commercial renovation and home improvement in Stamford, CT _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://bdbuildersgeneralconstruction.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): You love your home, but it's time for a change.
