Last 6 months: 1 reviews, 1 negative. ## The honest read In a September 2025 Google review, a Kennebunk couple who needed one 125-gallon tank for a small pool heater, where other fuel companies insisted on two, said Beaupre Fuels sold them a single new tank at a good price and set it up to the heater, with Lucy on the phone, Michael on the install and Steve on the first delivery. Beaupre is a Biddeford fuel dealer that describes itself as family-owned and operated and says it has kept Maine homes and businesses warm for over 75 years. Its BBB profile lists fuel delivery, oil and propane sales, tank monitoring, and heating system installation and repair. A December 2025 reviewer in their third year as a customer praised Sue and the technicians, a March 2025 reviewer thanked the drivers for handling winter driveways, and a January 2025 Reddit commenter who had bought their own tanks from Beaupre reported a $2.35 a gallon fill-up. Two reviews are sharply negative. A September 2026 reviewer who had just bought a home said Beaupre billed them over $300 for a fill-up made under the prior occupant's auto-fill before they had ever opened an account. In October 2023, a Lyman customer said deliveries there had changed to Wednesday through Sunday with a Wednesday-morning call-in deadline they were never told about, leaving them low on fuel before a storm. It holds 4 stars from 23 Google ratings and is a BBB-accredited business with an A+ grade. **Strengths:** - Tank installs — 2025 couple got one tank where others required two - Winter deliveries — 2025 reviewer thanked drivers for tricky driveways - Repeat customers — third-year 2025 customer praised Sue and technicians **Concerns:** - Billing — 2026 homebuyer charged $300 for a prior occupant's fill-up - Delivery changes — 2023 Lyman customer was not told of new delivery days ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2025 reviewer said Beaupre sold and installed a single 125-gallon tank for a pool heater at a good price when others required two _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2t0SGIwTmFRakowVG0xMWVVa3lUVGhNWVVkaWMwRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xe9f7b11521412c2b!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOktHb0NaQjJ0Tm11eUkyTThMYUdic0E%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ My husband and I love Beaupre Fuels!
