## The honest read

Beausoleil & Sons paves driveways. The company says on its website that it has over 50 years of dedicated service to its community in paving and pavement assessments. It holds 4.7 stars from 96 HomeAdvisor ratings, 3.6 stars from 27 Google ratings and an A+ grade on its BBB page.

On Nextdoor, a poster said they had two driveways paved by the company,. One recent Google customer said the crew arrived when they said they would, paid close attention to the preparation and left the work area clean after a driveway paving project. A recent customer said Eric, Lee and team did the driveway in two days, prep on day one and install on day two, and helped clean up the edges of the lawn after the install. A recent customer said LJ was respectful and knowledgeable and performed the work as promised. A recent HomeAdvisor customer thanked Erick and TJ and said the driveway came out great.

In a 2025 review, a customer said Eric C came to review the work, discussed options and gave a quote at that meeting, with the work done a few weeks later. A 2020 customer described asphalt paving and cobblestone edging on a driveway of over 4300 square feet, with Lee showing up with a crew of 6 workers. That 2020 customer said some stones had to be cut smaller to fit along the edging where workers met in the middle. A 2017 customer said the crew tore up old asphalt, dug out roots from an old oak tree in the driveway, and graded and paved so rain water would run away from the foundation.

A 2025 HomeAdvisor customer said the job was left unfinished, that they could not get the company to come back, and that they had paid in advance. A 2019 customer said the muriatic sand used on the cobblestone and pavers left white stains on the new asphalt that never washed away. That 2019 customer also said that, on the phone, they were told the driveway would be ripped out if the rest of the money was not paid by that weekend.

**Strengths:**
- Two-day driveway install — a recent customer said prep took one day, install the next
- A clean work area — a recent customer said it was left clean after paving
- Quote at first meeting — a 2025 customer said Eric C quoted at that meeting

**Concerns:**
- An unfinished job — a 2025 customer paid in advance and could not get them back
- Stains on new asphalt — a 2019 customer said white stains never washed away
- Cobblestone edge cuts — a 2020 customer said some stones were cut smaller to fit
