Based in Fitzwilliam, the business says it serves Keene, Peterborough and nearby towns, including communities across the Vermont and Massachusetts borders. In June 2026, one homeowner praised Doug for replacing an oddly sized storm door on a 1941 house and a rotted deck board. Another thanked Doug and Trey for a quick microwave installation at a reasonable price. A painting customer that month praised communication, thorough covering before the work and cleanup afterward. Older customers describe repair work and help with household lists. In August 2025, a homeowner said Doug rebuilt window sills to avoid replacing entire windows, found ways to address water damage and answered questions by text. A June 2025 reviewer described gutter cleaning, hedge trimming and deck repair within a week of calling, with little disruption and a reasonable bill. An October 2025 customer said Doug and his partner completed the requested work over a full day after quoting and scheduling the job quickly. Google shows a 4.9-star average from ten ratings. BBB gives the business an A grade. Its website also prints a Massachusetts home-improvement contractor registration number as its own claim. **Strengths:** - Door repairs — a June 2026 customer praised an unusually sized replacement - Painting preparation — a June 2026 customer praised covering and cleanup - Window sill repair — an August 2025 customer avoided replacing entire windows ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A June 2026 customer praised Doug's replacement of an oddly sized storm door and a rotted deck board. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25nNFdHaElTemhDVDJsVE9HdDJSMVpwTlROMlVtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xacc2d70cb2e1650f!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOng4WGhISzhCT2lTOGt2R1ZpNTN2Umc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Doug is knowledgeable, exacting, careful and trustworthy.
