## The honest read

Belle Home Housecleaning says on its Better Business Bureau listing that it has served Milford, New Haven County since 2005, offering weekly, biweekly and monthly cleaning plus deep cleans and move-in/move-outs. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 373 ratings, and the Better Business Bureau grades it A+.

A recent customer said Shana D. and Jackie moved every item during a deep clean, cleaned underneath and behind it, and organized every room. A recent customer with a large home said Kori, Emma and Ten got through it in a timely and efficient way, and that the bathrooms and appliances had never looked so good. A recent customer with five dogs said Mari and Jackie deep cleaned the entire house in about four hours before family arrived, and called it fairly expensive. A recent customer said Shana, Jessica and Kathinia did a move-out clean that left the home ready to be shown, with particular care on the stove and refrigerator. A recent customer in a New Haven apartment said Ten, Jenna and Dennie deep cleaned and de-cluttered the place, and felt it was good value even though the service isn't low cost.

A recent customer who booked a move-in clean said the house was not cleaned thoroughly as advertised, describing cobwebs, limescale left on the shower heads and grime on light switches. That customer also said the company called right away and offered a follow-up appointment to re-clean, which they declined. A 2024 customer said you needed to ask for the same person and time each week or it could change without notice, and that when one cleaning fell short, the company sent someone back to redo the areas still needing attention.

In 2023, a customer said the company responded immediately to a very last-minute call when their mom was moving, and the condo was done on time. On Reddit's r/newhaven, a 2026 commenter said they had been really happy with Belle Home for the last few years, calling it affordable and consistent.
