The Bethal team answered their questions from the design process through choosing cabinets, flooring, paint and finishes, and on the new house they worked directly with Anthony. Bethal Builders describes itself as a family-owned company that builds luxury custom homes in New Hampshire's Lakes Region, and its website lists New Durham, Alton, Barnstead, Gilford and Wolfeboro as its service area. Fab Cusson is the owner/operator and works with his son Anthony Cusson, according to a recent customer who had a ranch-style home built in Alton with a 2-car under garage and a finished basement on 2.25 acres. A recent customer who built a home 3 years ago said Fab was open and transparent throughout the build. A 2025 customer said they bought a three-season camp on Merrymeeting Lake in 2016, and that Fab listened to their vision; they now live in a year-round home, plus a new game room and garage. In 2025, a customer said they tore their old camp down to the foundation before the Bethel team built them a new home. In a 2012 review, a customer who hired Fab Cusson to build a retirement home said he took them to see several homes he had built and met them at the store to help choose fixtures. That 2012 customer said Fab had material sent back when the wrong item was delivered or the quality was not up to par, and paid to replace some screens he thought his own crew might have cut. The 2012 customer also said they received pictures of the progress daily, over 200 from land clearing to final inspection. A 2017 customer said they had used Bethal Builders several times over the previous 10 years and that the work was priced fairly. **Strengths:** - Repeat home build — a recent customer built another house with Fab - Camp to year-round home — a 2025 customer described the lake camp conversion - Daily progress photos — a 2012 customer received pictures of the build daily - Material sent back — a 2012 customer said wrong or subpar items were returned - Fair pricing — a 2017 customer said the work was priced fairly ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer built a second house with Fab and his team, in Belmont _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tSR1RubzVkak5GUzNSdlpteHhiVVZCWkdkWE1WRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc50e3c9cf78665f2!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkRGTno5djNFS3RvZmxxbUVBZGdXMVE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ If i could give 10 stars to Bethal Builders I would!
