A 2025 customer said the company cut a kitchen counter to fit a new sink and disposal without replacing the quartz countertop, in a job done in a day. A 2025 customer who used Better Built for a basement and then a kitchen said communication was spotty on the basement and abysmal on the kitchen, that work was ordered and charged without their approval, and that the project ran a full month past its scheduled completion. A 2024 customer said the owner, Jim Tranmer, refused to take their phone calls after they complained about missed work schedules.
